An Immersion at the Heart of Craftsmanship
Located in the heart of Paris, within the Viaduc des Arts, L’Atelier du Temps Passé has been restoring works of art for over 30 years. On the occasion of an exceptional private visit, Annette Douay, its founder, and her team are pleased to welcome you to the workshop to introduce you to an extraordinary profession and a wide range of skills.
Engage with seasoned restorers, experts in heritage conservation and restoration, and witness firsthand the restoration of works in progress: paintings (on canvas or wood, classical, modern, or contemporary), icons, works on paper (drawings, engravings, etc.), sculptures (wood, clay, plaster, etc.), antique frames (carved, gilded, etc.), and art objects of all kinds.
